A Blue View

This is a birthday card for one of my nephews.  I used a Darkroom Door stamp (from Wilderness Vol 1) and stamped it in Versafine Majestic Blue.  I then matted and layered it onto 2 shades of blue card.  The bg papers are from Basic Gray (Boxer) and the ribbon dividing them is from my stash.  The little metal brad shaped like a postage stamp also came from my stash and I stamped the sentiment (Stampin Up) onto white card and then added a flourish (Basic Gray Insignia) in SU Marina Mist.  To finish off my card I cut the flourishes (Sizzix Decorative Flourishes) and stamped them with the same Insignia stamp and added a Basic Gray brad at the bottom corner.
I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:
Unscripted Sketches - Sketch 106
Basic Gray - Mix and Match (BG papers, stamps, brad)
Crafty Creations - Anything Goes
Penny's Paper-Crafty - Anything Goes

Thanks for playing with us at Unscripted Sketches. Love you take on sketch 106! The monochromatic blue and grey is subtle, yet the stamped image still Pops. Especially like the backgound papers, they have a vintage flair : ) Susan

What a fabulous treatment for the focal point image....love when detailed stamps like that are stamped monochrome and left to shine! Your background sets it off beautifully. Thanks for playing with Speedy's Friends!
