Another of my nieces has her 18th this month and I made this card for her. I used a Sweet Pea stamp (Ching-chou kuik's Purple Woods) as I think she looks very like this. I watercoloured the image with Stampin' Up ink (Bashful Blue, Terracotta Intenso, Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant) and added some Sakura to the cat's wings and the edges of the trees, and a couple of tiny diamonds to her hair. The image was cut and matted with Nestabilities as was the sentiment (Woodware Kid's Birthdays). The bg paper is from PaperMania Creative Tones (Amethyst Infustion and Venetian Skyes) and I added sections of mauve card I punched with my Martha Steward Garden Trelis punch. The card was finished off with some flowers and a little key.
I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:
By the Cute and Girly - cute and girly
Card Makin' Mamas - Embellish it
Cooking It Up With Katie - Sparkle, Shine and Shimmer (sakura stardust pen on wings and round trees and bling on sentiment and in hair)
