Swing card

I was feeling lovey-dovey so decided to make a Valentine Swing card.  I cut an oval in a white card bank with my Nestabilities and decorated the opening with Tapestry Stamps (Floral Filigree Wreath) using Whispers Felt pens to colour them.  The central images are Penny Black stamps (Critter Party), stamped in Archival Ink (Jet Black) and again coloured with my Whispes pens.  The images were cut and matted with oval nesties and then stuck back to back with embroidery thread sandwiched between so I could hang it.  I then punched out 4 hearts (woodware punch), added a few pearls (stash) and here it is.
I am entering my card in the following challenges:
Penny Black at Allsorts - All you need is love
Bunny Zoe - Love is in the air
Lexi's Creation - Say it with love
Wags 'n' Whiskers - Valentine

Thai is such a pretty card. I love the use of your tapestry stamps. I have several sets of these and it has reminded me to use them more often.
Thank you for playing along in our challenge this month at penny Black at Allsorts and we hope to see you for our blog hop on the 15th Jan.

What an amazing card style! I've always wanted to try this but thought it would be too hard. You made it look really easy and I might have to give it a try. Also what a great idea to stamp around the cut out oval.

I'm so happy you joined us this month at Penny Black at all sorts, hope to see you on the 15th for our blog hop and don't forget you can enter our challenges up to 3 times!

Hi Jack what a gorgeous card. I love your little hedgepig, he is just so cute. I had a go with those tapestry stamps but it just looked like someone let a kid loose with a stamp pad and some rubbish! Your's is so delicate though, just devine.

Thanks for your lovely comments on my recent Sheena postings. I am flattered.

Hi Jack

What a wonderful creation and just that little bit different which is so nice to see.

You have used the RT stampes so well around the aperture making a perfect focal point for the PB image to swing.

Thank you for joining us at Penny Black at Allsorts Challenge this month, good luck and really hope you can join our Blog Hop starting tomorrow.
