I'm Jack - short for Jacqueline. I love card making of all types but especially using rubber stamps! In fact anything messy suits me fine. I also like parchment craft and mess about a bit with jewellery making.
It's DH's birthday so I thought I'd make him a nice card. I've had this Paper Arty stamp for ages (it's from Kids - Plate 2) and as he's a keen fisherman (understatement!) I decided to use this. I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black and coloured it with Whispers Pens adding highlights with Sakura Stardust pen. I cut it out and matted it with my Nestability Curved Rectangles. The background paper is Paper Mania blue vellum stamped with hooks and fishes (See D's Fish Tales) in Versafine Majestic Blue then I ran the paper through my Cuttlebug using Tim Holtz Alterations Texture Fades folder Retro Circles and attached it with little square, silver brads. The sentiment and the fish border is from the See D's set too, coloured again with Whispers Pens and Sakura Stardust. The fish border is matted onto blue card edged with a Martha Stewart punch (Scallop Dot).
I'd like to enter my card in the following challenges:
