I made this card for the Use something clear challenge over on Crafty Cardmakers. It was really easy to do. I ran an A5 piece of acetate through the Cuttlebug using the Happy Birthday folder. Cut most of the front off of a card blank and attached the acetate. Inside the card blank I decorated with some lovely paper from the Papermania Sweet Nothings pad. I then stamped the cake image (with a free stamp from Craft Stamper) twice, coloured the images with Sakura and Whisper pens, cut the cake from the second image and decoupaged it onto the first and added inside the card. Easy Peasy!

My friend Lucy altered a jewellery box recently and it's Gorgeous. So . . . I thought I'd have a go. I got a lovely little box from a Charity shop. Lucky for me it was already lined with black velvet paper and the outside was painted gold. All I had to do was decorate! So I used K&CO papers (Antiquity Flat Paper 12x12 and Antiquity Tan Parchment Flat 12x12), stamped on them with a scroll stamp and butterfly stamps from Crafty Individuals in Distress Inks (Antique Linen, Tattered Rose) and Brilliance Moonlight White and then edged the papers with Weathered Wood and Antique Linen. The papers were a bit fiddly to stick on round the catch and hinges but worth the effort as these were so pretty. I then made a flower by punching out 3 flat flowers with a Woodware punch, stamping on them in Tattered Rose with a Crafty Individuals stamp and then inking them in Dried Marigold and Weathered Wood. I put the flower together, added a bead and then punched some leaves with a McGill punch.

This is my card as a DT member for the Challenge over on Crafty Cardmakers. I used some aperture cards I had and stamped on the front with snowflakes from a Montage set by Stamps Away using various blue ColorBox Chalk Inks and silver ink. Then I stamped the Father Christmas (Papermania Stamp) on the inner flap with VersaMark and embossed in detailed Silver Embossing Powder. I sponged a background with the ColorBox Inks and stuck the inner flap in place. To finish the card off I stuck a silver peel-off border round the aperture.
